St Martin's Seniors

- St Martin's Seniors is for the over 55s, and meets on the first Thursday every month at St Martin's Church Community Hall, at 7.15 p.m. We try to provide an interesting speaker or entertainment, plus we organise days out and theatre trips.

Frank Parkes gave an interesting talk about the past and reminded us of many things that are now funny, but at the time, were quite serious.
24 June.
The trip to the National Memorial Arboretum was a great success. Everyone enjoyed the short service at 11.00 a.m. in the very interesting chapel, the guided tour, and to finish, a good meal in the restaurant.
3 July.
Gabriella came to entertain us with her little ukelele, and witty songs. We will certainly invite her back.
7 August.
Brenda White organised an evening of "Call My Bluff", which turned out to be hilarious.
